The Point Construction Update, September 2021

It’s been a busy month for our construction team, as we continue to shape our thriving community.

 

Residential Update

Stage 8 – Earthworks are now complete and sewer and drainage works are now well underway. The current forecast practical completion date is late December 2021.

Stage 15 – Road construction is now complete and all services are now installed. Statement of Compliance will be granted once final approvals from the servicing authorities have been achieved.

Stage 16 – Earthworks have now commenced on-site and are progressing well. Construction of the sewer and drainage will soon begin.

Stage 17 – Earthworks continue onsite which has included the impact rolling process. Sewer works are programmed to commence in late September. The forecasted practical completion date is February 2022.

Stage 18 – The documentation and approval stage is continuing. Earthworks commence shortly after approvals have been granted.

Stage 19 – Earthworks have now commenced on site. Construction of the sewer and drainage will soon follow.

Stage 20 – The documentation and approval stage is now underway. Earthworks commence shortly after approvals have been granted.

Infrastructure Update

The waterway culverts under Fellows Road and the reconstruction of the road pavement have been completed. The final shaping of the waterway earthen bunds is currently underway and will be followed by the removal of the last construction bund. Once the construction of the bund has been completed, landscape works will then commence. 

Waterway construction is also continuing within The Point both north of the Bellarine Highway and to the west of completed stages.

Landscape works are also underway in a number of locations throughout The Point.
